Clayton Lueba

ABOUT Clayton

Clayton grew up in Davis County, Utah. He has enjoyed the close proximity and easy access to recreation in the Wasatch and nearby mountain ranges since an early age. After graduating from Utah State University with a BA in Liberal Arts in 2015, Clayton moved to Salt Lake to pursue rock climbing instruction. As an instructor for MED Clayton is involved in teaching technical courses on sport and traditional rock climbing. Clayton began climbing in 2008 at the age of 16, when he worked as a climbing instructor at a Boy Scouts of America summer camp. As an instructor at the Front Climbing Club he further improved his skills teaching climbing movement and tactical skills. Today Clayton’s favorite climbing pursuits involve long days in the alpine, and technically challenging sport and traditional climbing routes.
