Jason Blauch, M.A.
Jason was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, to an expatriate family that travelled the world. After finishing college in North Carolina, he found his way to California to work as a deckhand on several fishing and sailing vessels until he resolved to devoted his personal and professional life to exploring the deserts and mountains of the world. He soon found a career in outdoor education and helped develop and supervise the Outdoor Program at the University of Redlands while continuing to guide and travel. Eventually Jason moved to Utah and started work as the Outdoor Program Coordinator at Westminster College and an instructor for Mountain Education and Development. Jason is the owner and founder of a new company, Aspect Adventure, which specializes in outdoor adventure events for corporate and group retreats. While working around the US and the globe, Jason is perpetually scheming and planning the next climbing trip. Jason’s personal and professional trips have taken him to all the States of the Western US, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Nepal, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Italy, Croatia, and Argentina.
