Kyle was raised in Telluride, Colorado, and grew up kayaking, climbing and skiing in the San Juan mountain range. He now calls Salt Lake City home. He is currently a student at the University of Utah studying Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Emergency Medical Services: Wilderness Response. Kyle is an instructor at MED, teaching wilderness medicine, rock climbing, ice and alpine climbing and backcountry ski touring. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing in Little Cottonwood Canyon and the desert. Through high school college, he has really grown to use his time recreating as an escape and stress relief. He feels strongly that recreating in the outdoors has a tremendous positive effect on personal health. He loves being able to share his passion for the outdoors because it has been such a positive influence and driving force in his own life.
