Ren Barrus, B.A.
Ren grew up just north of Salt Lake City and considers Utah to very much be his home. He went to school at the University of Utah where he studied Parks, Recreation, and Tourism, and has been with MED since 2013. Ren specializes in teaching rock climbing and ice climbing with MED, and is a true jack of all trades. He is an avid climber, splitboarder, sea kayaker, fly fisher, backpacker, and ukelele jammer. Ren is incredibly passionate about education and the power it has to positively impact people’s lives, and enjoys working with MED because of “the excellent team that MED consists of. Go team.” He is grateful for having the time to be outside, spend time with good friends and family.
