Sarah Morris, M.S.
Sarah grew up in a small mountain town in Northern California, and now calls Salt Lake City home. Sarah graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Environmental Science in 2012, and completed her master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Utah. Sarah quickly became involved working with MED after moving to Utah in 2013, and has established herself as a dedicated and passionate instructor on the team. Sarah currently works as MED’s Program Manager, and specializes in teaching rock climbing, ice climbing, and wilderness medicine. Sarah is an avid rock climber, and is fascinated by outdoor recreation’s ability to develop meaningful relationships and solicit creativity and personal growth. When she is not working, Sarah can often be found climbing, cooking, adventuring with her dog, doing yoga, or planning the next trip. Sarah has a deep appreciation for the benefits associated with outdoor adventure education, and loves to share these opportunities with those around her.
