About the Course
The MED Wilderness First Responder - Recertification (WFRR) course makes use of lecture and practical-based learning both in and outside of the classroom, and is geared towards students who will be working, guiding, or recreating in remote locations with others.
The concepts and skills reviewed in this course will prepare you to prevent, identify and stabilize a diverse range of injuries and illnesses associated with recreation in remote places where adaptations to harsh environments, limited access to resources and communication, and personal/group safety must be made.
This course is minimally 16 hours in length and is accepted as a method of recertification for a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) who has earned their certification within the previous 3 years.
