Brian Turk grew up in northeast Ohio and still resides there full time with his wife Eileen. Brian is a science teacher at Kenston High School where he teaches geology and climbing courses. Brian graduated from the University of Dayton in 2007 with a B.S. in Geology and a B.S in Education and has been teaching ever since. He has also earned his M.S. in Geosciences from Mississippi State University. Brian is a true believer that quality experiences are the best way to gain knowledge. Most importantly, he loves being part of an adventure and seeing people get excited about being outside. He wants people to experience the whole process of outdoor recreation, specifically climbing, including the preparation, connection and trust of your partners. Brian currently works as one of our instructors teaching rock, ice and wilderness medicine courses. When he is not working for us, Brian enjoys rock and ice climbing, trail running, snowboarding, mountain biking, going on trips, strolls in the woods with his wife, and spending time with friends and family.
